Strawbale mountain cabin in Madra mountains
The two-story wooden and straw-bale house design, which consists of a wooden frame and a straw bale, located on the Gölcük plateau on the Madra Mountain. In addition to the structural wood, the preservation of the wood texture in the interior and the straw bales collected from the lower village in isolation both leave a lower carbon footprint and are more efficient in terms of energy saving for the building. Thanks to the collection of rainwater, the building meets its own water needs for almost three seasons of the year and provides most of its energy from the sun thanks to solar panels. At the same time, the steel cooker located in the center of the building helps the building to warm up.
