A30 Studio is an architecture and landscape practice focused on ecological design, natural building materials and the relationship between people, landscape and local knowledge.

We design buildings and landscapes inspired by vernacular architecture and traditional ecological practices, translating them into contemporary solutions for low-impact living.

Our work explores natural and bio-based materials including timber, stone, earth and sheep wool together with passive design strategies, landscape restoration, permaculture and productive ecosystems. Research is an integral part of our practice. Through fieldwork, material experimentation and the study of rural landscapes, we develop site-specific approaches that connect architecture, ecology and local communities.
