Ege Ercanlı Başar
MS.c Architect / Restorer / Permaculture Designer
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture in 2017. She later continued her academic studies at Sapienza University of Rome, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Conservation and Restoration. Her master’s thesis, “Green Buildings in Europe: A Study on the Value of Natural Building Materials (Straw Bales)”, focused on sustainable construction techniques. During this period, she also participated in straw bale and hempcrete construction workshops in Belgium. She has worked in several architecture offices and obtained her Permaculture Design Certificate. In the summer of 2022, she took part in the Innovative Learning Spaces program at the International Scientific School in Sardinia, which explored the relationship between pedagogy and architecture. She is the founder of Archped, an initiative that bridges architecture and pedagogy. Her work focuses on the transformation of learning environments, and she organizes architectural workshops for children, offering new perspectives on creativity and spatial thinking.

Oğuz Kemal Başar, Phd
MS.c Architect / Landscape Architect / Permaculture Designer
Oğuz Kemal Başar is an architect, photographer and researcher based between Italy and Turkey. His work focuses on pastoral landscapes, cultural ecologies and more-than-human systems, investigating how grazing practices, mobility and traditional ecological knowledge shape rural and alpine environments. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Architecture and Landscape Architecture, with a specialization in Cultural Landscapes, from Politecnico di Milano.
He completed his PhD in “Protection of Mountain Areas and Ecology” at the Free University of Bozen–Bolzano (unibz), where his research focused on pastoral systems and landscape processes. His research is grounded in field-based methodologies, combining ethnography, mapping and visual documentation to explore the relationships between humans, animals and landscapes. His work has developed through field studies across alpine, Mediterranean and arid regions, with a particular focus on traditional land use and vernacular architectures in mountain environments. He has participated in various ecological and cultural research initiatives in the Alpine territories. He is also the co-founder of A30 Architecture, an Istanbul-based practice working at the intersection of space, memory, and environment.

Ali Buğra Cebeci
MS.c Architect / Urban Planner
e completed his undergraduate studies in Architectural Sciences and his Master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design at the Faculty of Architecture, Politecnico di Milano between 2014 and 2019. During his studies, he completed an internship at NKY Architecture in Ankara in 2016 and a construction site internship at Yaman Group in 2017.In 2017, he participated in the Metabolism of the City workshop in New York City, followed by the Living in Marrakesh workshop in Marrakech in 2019. In 2020, he completed his master’s thesis titled “Experimental Application of Tensile Structures in Residential Architecture.” His published thesis was nominated for the Noemi Basso Award in the category of Architecture and Structural Relationship. In the same year, he received the BB Green Award in the Micro Home competition organized by Bee Breeders.
