Vegan cafe interior project in the center of Istanbul

 'V-Sweet Vegan Cafe' is a interior renovation project that opened in the city center of Beşiktaş, Istanbul. We renovated 50 m2 abandoned cafe. Whole concept based on minimalism and natural materials. Istanbul is a chaotic city. Thus, we tried to relax the customer eyes and enjoyed the vegan sweets. The main attraction of the project is the rammed earth wall. The earth came from out of the Istanbul and mixed with natural color pigments to collaborate with the whole concept of the cafe. As an A30 Studio, we implemented the construction and whole design process.

🌱In order to be away from the chaos of the city and to relax the eyes, we adopted the simple, plain, and Mediterranean design as a principle in the whole space, and aimed to facilitate access to nature, to some extent, in the artificial environment we live in.
🌱We have created a holistic design for the rammed earth counter on the lower floor, which will harmonize with the colors of the space, thanks to the natural paint pigments in it.
🌱We designed an indoor and outdoor vertical garden with the aromatic herbs, spices, and seasonal vegetables we chose for the cafe menu to provide some of its own food.
🌱We have placed decay boxes that can be used in pots so that the leftover food can be turned into soil again, that is, compost can be made.
